Summertime in Montgomery
Located in the Mid-Hudson Valley, our B&B is
perfectly located for all types of activities, events, and destinations. Guests can relax and enjoy the summer happenings in and around Montgomery, New York.
Our local farmers markets abound with fresh produce. Why not bring home some fruits and vegetables right from the farm to your table! I always try to use local foods when serving my guests at Buck’s Homestead.
Enjoy a day of hiking, sightseeing, golfing, local museums, and art galleries. We are located in the middle of the Shawangunk Wine Trail–or you take a self-guided tour of local historical places and be sure to include a visit to the Village of Montgomery Museum. You can also cruise the Hudson from Newburgh Landing, visit the Storm King Art and Sculpture Gardens, or West Point, or take a stroll on the new Walkway over the Hudson from Highland or Poughkeepsie.
Local events include the Orange County Fair in July and General Montgomery Day in Montgomery on Sept. 7th. When your day is complete, enjoy a meal at any of Montgomery’s great restaurants–and then relax with us in a comfortable, air-conditioned room here at Buck’s Homestead B&B. We are located at 364 Goodwill Road, Montgomery, NY 12569
